Ways we can work together

Testimonials

  • From the outset, Rachel was incredibly welcoming and professional to work with. A space was created that felt safe for me to be open and honest, enabling me to express myself in ways I have never been able to before.

Through our work together, I was given the tools and structure to identify unhelpful, historic behaviour patterns to begin challenging these.

Through this, I have started to make sense of what previously felt chaotic and, oftentimes, unmanageable. The scope of our work together has extended far beyond improving my well-being but it has also made me a better friend, colleague and partner.

  • My life didn’t make sense anymore: everything seemed to be looking up, both professionally and personally, but I still felt suicidal. I opened up to a friend who told me Rachel had completely transformed their life.

Just 2 months after starting therapy, I noticed a shift in my mood and a more positive outlook on life.

After a year, I feel so much calmer and resilient. I can now deal with events which would have sent me spinning out of control. Given my past, I never thought this would be possible.

When people ask me how Rachel did it, I cannot put it into words. Yet, she knew exactly what to do and she got me there. I am very grateful to her and I wish I had met her years earlier.

  • I struggled with emetophobia for as long as I could remember and it prevented me from living my life — affecting my eating, sleeping, and socialising. Before going to Rachel, I couldn’t think of anything worse than talking about my fear, but now I only wish I’d done it sooner! She listens without judgement and creates such a safe environment.

Her factual and scientific approach really helped me make sense of my anxiety and gave me an understanding of why my body was reacting in that way.

She taught me practical ways of coping and gradually overcoming and I’m so grateful for the support she’s given me. I absolutely cannot recommend her enough.

Frequently asked questions

Why work with me?

I am a Counselling Psychologist chartered by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Earlier in my professional career, I worked as a corporate lawyer in the City of London.

However, it was my own experience of therapy that was the catalyst I needed to retrain as a psychologist.

I am passionate about helping others in a relatable and personable way, supporting them through difficult times, and providing them with the best tools available to build confidence and resilience.
